In accordance with the unified plan of Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the access code of short message services will be adjusted nation wide. Therefore, the access code of CNNIC Wireless Keyword service will be changed from 916076 to 1066916076 since Dec.1, 2007.

According to MII’s plan, from Dec.1, 2007 to Feb.29, 2008, ISPs will hold up all short messages sent to the old number and response with a new number direction notice. From 00:00 on Mar.1, 2008, all short messages sent to the old number will be deemed invalid without any notice.
